Ascension VPK Program
Ascension Catholic School offers Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program that consists of over 700 hours of classroom instruction, at no extra cost to our VPK families. Our decision to exceed the 540 hours of instructional time required by the State of Florida is evidence of our commitment to quality early childhood education, as well as our desire to make a Catholic education available to all children in our community. You and your child will be an important part of our Ascension Family.
Ascension Catholic School provides students with a well-rounded education that focuses on the spiritual, intellectual, physical, creative, social, psychological and emotional formation of each child. All students are offered the opportunity to expand their horizons and to learn in a secure faith-filled environment.
According to the State of Florida, all VPK students must be age 4 by September 1.
Our VPK classrooms are full and we are no longer accepting applications for the 2026/2027 school year.
Applications for the 2027/2028 school year will open December 2026.
Ascension Catholic School is a child care facility operating under an exemption pursuant to the laws of the State of Florida and is not subject to licensure or regulation by the Department of Children and Families.
