The Drama Club exists to help students develope an appropriate sense of self esteem, confidence and courage. Through drama, students are provided with an opportunity to be creative and the program serves as an outlet for their self expression.
The Ascension Drama Club is open to students in grades five through eight. Each year a different musical production is chosen and students tryout for the major roles. As well as acting in the play, students work as back stage crew members on props and sets, lighting and sound. Plays are staged on Friday and Saturday evenings. Tickets are sold, with many school and parish members attending.
