¡Bienvenidos al La Sociedad Hispánica de Amistad -Capítulo Borges
Students who meet the following requirements will be invited to join the society. Inductions take place in late January during Catholic Schools Week.
The Spanish Honor society was formed in 2004 under the umbrella organization of the Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. Ascension was fortunate to be selected as the first school in the country to receive a chapter. Students will work to complete projects in the areas of service to school, service to community and ambassadorship.
In addition, applicants must:
1. Be in the Eighth Grade
2. Taken Spanish for one full year
3. Maintain an "A" in Spanish
4. Maintain good conduct
5. Demonstrate a love of the language and culture |
