Our hot lunch program is being run by volunteers this year. Through their hard work, a tasty and nutritious meal will be made available to all students and staff. Parents are also welcome to share a meal with their children! Entrees will include a main item, a side item and a drink such as milk, 100% juice, or water. Sodas and candy items will not be served.

Meals are purchased on a ticket exchange basis only. Cash will not be accepted. The extra pizza slice ticket has been expanded to the Extra Entrée ticket. It is used to purchase an additional portion of the main entrée. Tickets are sold by the sheet and are available in the following choices: Entrée, Extra Entrée, Snack only and Drink only. There are 20 tickets per sheet. Entrée tickets and Extra Entrée tickets may be purchased by the half or full sheet; however, snack and drink tickets are only available in full sheets. Entrée tickets are $3.00 each, extra entrée tickets are $1.00 each, snack tickets are $0.50 each and drink tickets are $0.40 each.

What is an Extra Entrée Ticket?

We all know that as our children grow, so do their appetites; especially those in middle school.  There have been many parents in past years who have expressed a desire for a larger lunch for their growing kids.  In the past, there was a ticket that allowed for the purchase of one extra pizza slice on pizza day. Today, that ticket has been expanded to the rest of the lunch entrées.  

The Extra Entrée ticket allows for one additional portion of the main entrée as advertised in the monthly menu for a specific day.  For example: if on Monday the menu states that the main entrée is a taco, then the extra entrée ticket will purchase one additional taco.  If the main entrée is chicken tenders, then the extra entrée ticket will purchase the same number of chicken tenders as would come with a normal entrée.  There will be no substitutions and the student MUST have a normal entrée ticket in order to use the extra entrée ticket.  

We are committed to providing healthy, nutritious meals as best we can, but we cannot be in charge of monitoring your child's health habits.  Parents will need to monitor their child's food intake and diet and decide on when to use the extra entrée ticket.  We also cannot be policing students who use the extra entrée tickets appropriately but then give the food item to their friend.
