Ascension Doughnuts After Mass

Updated September 30, 2007

The 8th grade is conducting a fundraiser selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts on Friday mornings in front of the school.

Doughnuts are for sale individually for $0.50 or $5.00 per dozen.

Either way, they are less expensive than if you buy them at Krispy Kreme!

You can now pre-order your doughnuts by the dozen by emailing Christy Marzec (chmarzec@cfl.rr.com) with how many boxes you will need and they will be set aside for you on Friday morning.  Please email pre-orders by Wednesday, no later than 9pm.

Eighth graders will be able to deliver to your car!

Thanks for supporting the 8th grade!

Ascension School parents help serve doughnuts after the Sunday masses. Parents earn points for helping during this activity. The months the school parents are especially encouraged to work are November and March. Grades 4-8 are supposed to provide parents to help after the three masses on Sundays in November, PreK-3 is supposed to work masses March.

Instructions: What parents need to do is pour coffee and make sure there are enough supplies at the bagel table (napkins, butter, jams & cream cheese) and at the coffee center (condiments, sugar, cream, juice napkins and stirs.)

Times: Parents do not need to come until 8:15 for the first mass, as the older members of the church who have this ministry usually have most of the setup complete. The 9:30 mass needs some set up help, so if someone wants to come at 9:00 before the mass, that would be helpful. Also before the 11:30 mass, as we need to breakdown a section for the 11:30 mass. That would make it easier so that basically in an hour you could be done if there is enough help!! The last mass could be done by 1:30 with any final cleanup.

If you would like to assist with this activity, please contact Jeannie Linkenhoker or the Ascension School Office.
