 “Where Fearless Kids Shine God’s Light!” 

REGISTRATION BEGINS

 

Get ready for an exciting adventure, discovering God is with us, God is powerful, God does what He says He’ll do, God gives us life, and God cares for us. Crocodile Dock is swamped with fun for kids, teenagers, and adults. During the Summer Catechesis Program week, every morning children of the community will join together at Crocodile Dock to discover God and all He means to us. The morning will include stations at Sing & Play Swamp Stomp, Bible Bayou, Gator Games, Snack Shack, Chadder’s Dockside Drive In, Crawfish Crafts & Missions, and a Firefly Finale. There will also be Rocky’s Preschool Playhouse for the littlest of folks. Click here for our registration form and waiver form. You will need to fill out both completely and return them to the Religious Education Office in the Ministries Building by May 15th.
VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
NEXT FINGERPRINTING – April 8th at 7:00 pm in the Religious Education Office
NEXT MEETING: JUNE 6 – 9 am to Noon in the Parish Center Small Hall

The Crocodile Dock coordinators are recruiting adult and teenage volunteers to join the adventure scheduled for the week of June 22 - 26, 2009. Interested volunteers please contact Betsy Glasenapp, the Religious Education Director at email dre@ascensioncatholicsch.org or phone 254-1595 extension 3080.

Plan now to become a volunteer for the 2009 SCP. Click here for a volunteer application. All completed applications should be turned into Betsy Glasenapp in the Religious Education Office. All volunteers 14 years of age and over who participate in Summer Catechesis Program are required to have fingerprints on file with Ascension Catholic Community through the Diocese of Orlando. Fingerprinting will be available by appointment. Cost is $36.00. In addition, volunteers are required to complete the Safe Environment Training (Please check with Betsy Glasenapp, the Religious Education Director at email dre@ascensioncatholicsch.org or phone 254-1595 extension 3080.)
