MathFacts in a Flash Program works in 5 simple step:
STEP 1: Baseline test
Students complete a timed test at the computer for each new math level. Immediate
on-screen feedback provides students with their time and accuracy, and shows
any missed problems.
STEP 2: Individual practice
Students practice a variety of problems, including those that cause the most
difficulty at their levels and any they missed on the previous test.
STEP 3: Timed tests for mastery
Students complete 40-item timed tests for additional practice until all problems
are answered correctly within a mastery time goal. Using an assisted-response
format, students quickly develop the confidence they need to succeed with the
program.
STEP 4: Automatic advancement to new math level
As students master their current levels, the program automatically assigns the
next math level. You can adjust the sequence of math levels to fit any curriculum.
STEP 5:Instant information for teachers
Detailed reports give you an instant snapshot of how each student is progressing.
At last, you will know exactly which math facts each student has mastered.
One of the components of the MathFacts in a Flash program is a CD's that can be sent home with the children to reinforce the skills they are learning. Speak with your child's teacher if you are interested in checking out a CD.
