Ascension Accreditation

Ascension School, as well as other Catholic Schools in the State of Florida, is accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference in Tallahassee. This accreditation ensures that the school meets the high standards laid down with regard to teacher qualification, curriculum, library media services, student services and facilities. Accreditation standards have been revised and updated.

Exemplary Elementary School Award

In June, 1986, Ascension School was designated by the United States Department of Education as an Exemplary Elementary School. The selection process validated how well Ascension Catholic School carried out its mission of furthering the intellectual, social, and moral growth of its members.

Blue Ribbon School Award

In the year 2003, Ascension School was awarded the honor of a U. S. Department of Education No Child Left Behind -- Blue Ribbon School.
